Yamaha YFL 581 (677) Silver Flute for sale in Derry, NH
Hello Everyone, Here is a YFL-581 made in the 1990's. The YFL 581 is a solid sterling silver (with a silver-plated key mechanism) professional flute that provides the best playing quality. This model is basically the same as the (now) more expensive YFL 677 flute (3,999 retail). The difference is that the 581 was built with quality in mind and is an amazing instrument. As seen in the pictures, the flute is a sterling silver head, body, and footjoint with a sterling silver plate in-line G mechanism. This instrument just had a full service done on 4/23/2021 by Craig O'Leary and is in amazing playing condition. Despite being almost 30 years old, this flute has minimal use and has no dents or dings. The pads are in fantastic shape and the whole instrument plays with a deep, rich sound. The headjoint is very responsive and will be good for almost anyone! I have used this for a few months but have no time at all to play anymore (unfortunately). This instrument will be great for a high school, college, hobbyist, or professional player.
